Description

A delightful layered dessert with ice cream, an Oreo crust, and whipped cream, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pints of ice cream (your favorite flavors: vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry)
  • 1 package of Oreo cookies
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate syrup
  • 1/2 cup of whipped cream
  • 1/4 cup of crushed nuts (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos by using a food processor or a rolling pin in a sealed bag.
  2. Prepare the crust by mixing Oreo crumbs with melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  3. Form the base by pressing the crust mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan and freeze for 10 minutes.
  4. Add scoops of one pint of your chosen ice cream onto the crust, smoothing it down with a spatula.
  5. Drizzle chocolate syrup generously over the first layer of ice cream and smooth it out.
  6. Spread optional whipped cream over the chocolate layer.
  7. Chill in the freezer for 15-20 minutes to firm up.
  8. Top with a second pint of ice cream, smoothing it out and freeze until solid, about 2 hours.
  9. Finish with more whipped cream and optional crushed nuts before serving.

Notes

Best served with fresh berries, chocolate covered pretzels, or a drizzle of caramel sauce.
