Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the creamed butter and sugars, stirring until just combined.
- Divide the dough into two halves; add red food coloring to one and blue to the other, mixing until vibrant.
- Gently marble the red and blue dough together.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them out.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Cool on wire racks before serving.
Notes
Chill the dough for up to 24 hours to intensify flavors. Optional: Air fry at 325°F for 6-8 minutes.
