Cinnamon Swirl Pumpkin Bread that Will Delight Your Tastebuds!

Description

A deliciously moist pumpkin bread swirled with cinnamon sugar, perfect for fall or any time of the year.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar (for swirl)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for swirl)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, combine the ¼ cup granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon for the swirl.
  6. Pour half of the pumpkin batter into the prepared loaf pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over it, then add the remaining batter and top with the remaining cinnamon sugar.
  7. Use a knife to gently swirl the batter and cinnamon sugar together.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
  • This bread can be frozen for up to 3 months; wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and foil.
  • For a richer flavor, add chopped nuts or chocolate chips to the batter.
