- 1 can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls
- 4 cups of peeled and sliced apples (e.g., Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Toss the peeled and sliced apples with cinnamon and sugar in a mixing bowl.
- Flatten each cinnamon roll slightly and layer them in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Spread the apple mixture evenly over the flattened cinnamon rolls.
- Beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream in a separate bowl until smooth.
- Layer the cream cheese mixture over the apples.
- Continue to layer with another set of flattened cinnamon rolls, spiced apples, and more cream cheese mixture.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the top layer.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
