- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- Chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, melt the dark chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
- Fold the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold it into the chocolate mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a greased cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set. Let it cool completely.
- Dust with cocoa powder and garnish with chocolate shavings before serving.
