Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup hazelnut spread
  • 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture gently.
  5. Spread the batter evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool slightly, then roll it up in the parchment paper and let it cool completely.
  8. Whip the heavy cream and fold in the hazelnut spread.
  9. Unroll the cake, spread the cream mixture, and re-roll it carefully.
  10. Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with chopped hazelnuts before serving.
