Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 8-inch square baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, mixing until just blended.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Spread the mixture evenly into your prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
