A delicious and comforting casserole made with layers of ham, potatoes, and cheese, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups of diced potatoes
  • 2 cups of diced ham
  • 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the diced potatoes, ham, and half of the cheddar cheese.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the soup mixture over the potato and ham mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, you can add more sour cream.
  • Feel free to substitute the ham with cooked chicken or turkey.
