    • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 1/4 cup sour cream
    • 1 large egg
  • For the Egg Rolls:
    • 10 egg roll wrappers
    • Vegetable oil for frying
  • For the Coating:
    • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
    • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, sour cream, and egg. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  2. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, with a corner pointing towards you.
  3. Place 2 tablespoons of the cheesecake filling in the center of the wrapper.
  4. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly to seal. Use a little water to help seal the edges.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry the egg rolls in batches for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown, turning occasionally for even cooking.
  7. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  8. In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon, then roll the warm egg rolls in the mixture to coat.
