Ingredients

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 egg (or flax egg for vegan option)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the rolled oats, protein powder, baking powder, and spices. Blend until the mixture is a fine flour.
  2. Add the almond milk, honey (if using), and egg to the blender. Blend until smooth.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  4. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
  5. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until bubbles form, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite toppings such as yogurt, fruit, or syrup.

  • For a vegan option, substitute the egg with a flax egg (1 tablespoon ground flaxseed mixed with 2.5 tablespoons water).
