- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, pineapple juice, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
- Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the sauce over them.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry, then add to the sauce to thicken.
- Serve the chicken with the sauce drizzled on top.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
