- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce

Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Boil the bowtie pasta in a large pot of salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Brown the beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until it’s beautifully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
- Sauté garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
- Mix in the sauce: Pour in the tomato sauce and sprinkle in the Italian seasoning. Stir together and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss the pasta: Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat each piece with sauce.
- Serve and garnish: Plate hot and offer grated Parmesan cheese on the side.
Notes
Make it ahead of time and store in the fridge for up to three days. Add vegetables like spinach or zucchini to personalize the dish.
