Description

A hearty and comforting casserole made with biscuits, sausage, and creamy gravy, perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 can of refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 pound of breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbled.
  3. Remove the sausage and drain excess fat.
  4. In the same skillet, whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
  6. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to the gravy.
  7. Cut the biscuits into quarters and place them in a greased casserole dish.
  8. Pour the sausage and gravy mixture over the biscuits.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a spicier version, use spicy sausage.
  • Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
