Ingredients

- 1 can of refrigerated biscuits
- 1 pound of breakfast sausage
- 2 cups of milk
- 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbled.
- Remove the sausage and drain excess fat.
- In the same skillet, whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to the gravy.
- Cut the biscuits into quarters and place them in a greased casserole dish.
- Pour the sausage and gravy mixture over the biscuits.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For a spicier version, use spicy sausage.
- Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
