Ingredients

- 1 can of refrigerated biscuits
- 1 pound of breakfast sausage
- 2 cups of milk
- 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned.
- Remove the sausage and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan.
- Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
- Add the cooked sausage back to the skillet and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Roll out the biscuits and place them on a pizza stone or baking sheet.
- Spread the sausage gravy mixture over the biscuits.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sausage gravy.
- Feel free to use different types of cheese for added flavor.
