Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large whole dill pickles
  • 12 slices bacon (regular or thick-cut)
  • 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 0.5 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or a wire rack.
  2. Pat dry each dill pickle thoroughly with paper towels.
  3. Slice each pickle lengthwise into two equal halves.
  4. Season the cut sides of the pickles with smoked paprika and garlic powder.
  5. Wrap each pickle half tightly with a slice of bacon, securing the ends underneath.
  6. Place the bacon-wrapped pickles seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, until the bacon is crisp and golden brown.
  8. Cool for 2 to 3 minutes on the baking sheet.

Notes

You can prep the pickles in advance and refrigerate them before baking. Consider air frying for a quicker option.
