Delicious and moist apple cider glazed donuts that are perfect for fall.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tablespoons apple cider (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, and apple cider until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fill the donut pan with the batter, about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the donuts cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
- For the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar and apple cider until smooth.
- Dunk the cooled donuts into the glaze and let them set on the wire rack.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For a stronger apple flavor, reduce the amount of flour slightly and increase the apple cider.
- These donuts can be frozen for up to 2 months.
